Let the Tapping Begin and May the Sap be With You

A traditional ceremony takes place today in Augusta that is yet another sign of the impending Spring.

Governor Paul LePage will be joining others today to tap a maple tree on the lawn of the Blaine House.

The event today serves as the official introduction to Maine Maple Sunday, which celebrates it's 30th anniversary on March, 24, 2013. A lot of local farms open up with lots of tasty samples! A great family event.
